Autocorrect Blamed for Incorrect Trade Show Cancelation

ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA – Emerald Expositions is blaming autocorrect on an error that inadvertently announced the cancelation of the Cider Expo in Middlebury, Vermont instead of the CEDIA Expo in Denver. “It’s really unfortunate but we only noticed the error after we sent the announcement out to our tradeshow partners,” said Brian Pagel, Executive Vice President at Emerald. “I’m sure it caused major confusion but we want everyone to know that the Cider Expo is NOT canceled and will still take place at Cannon Park in downtown Middlebury as scheduled!” CEDIA plans to take advantage of the mishap by offering free apple cider at the CEDIA Booth during the Expo next year.
